Unitectra supports universities and their researchers in the commercial exploitation of research findings. Unitectra’s services include:

• Evaluation of inventions
• Protection and management of intellectual property (patents, copyright, trademarks, etc.)
• Strengthening of intellectual property during the proof-of-concept phase
• Negotiation of licenses with implementation partners (for existing companies or newly founded spin-off companies); monitoring of licenses

In addition, Unitectra supports researchers in negotiating research contracts with partners from the private and public sectors, taking university guidelines into account. This applies in particular to contracts in which regulations on intellectual property are relevant.
